My name is Marissa. I graduated from the UofL with a major in fine art. I have a passion and appreciation for art history. I've decided that I love school so much that I'm back for 2 more years to get my education degree so that I can teach art to kids. I've lived and traveled all over the world but there are still so many places I still want to see. My goal is to continue traveling and teach art along the way.
Growing up with technology being incorporated into everyday life I've certainly had some good experiences as well as bad. Mainly my frustrations come from not knowing how to use the technology and being nervous to break it (because that is what seems to happen every time I touch technology!) The first time I ever made a power point presentation in high school I think I tried to save it to a floppy disk (clearly I had no idea what I was doing) and didn't try it out on any other computer to make sure it worked before I gave my presentation. So of course I got to school, went to set everything up and the power point failed to work. I was in such a panic that I was going to fail the assignment because I had to present without any visual aid that the speech was a disaster. From that day on I ALWAYS double check to make sure my work is compatible with other computers so to avoid anymore embarrassing mishaps!
